As promised, here are the rest of Pryce puppy’s lovely canine (and equine) family! I’m missing little Zoe, the papillon, but since she wasn’t feeling too great the morning of our session, I didn’t get too many images of her. Hopefully she forgives me. : )
First up are Owen (left) and Nike – both have awesome and highly contagious smiles, but I think Owen wins the “most likely to be a cartoon character” award.
Owen is also in charge of watching *his* two miniature horses.
Next up is Zeke. His expressions crack me up and I can’t help but to think that he knows something that I don’t…and he’s not telling!
This little guy (I forget his name) has a rockin’ hairdo!
And finally we have sweet Trace and his puppy friend, Pryce. I am so sad to report that Trace passed away the week following our session, just shy of 13 years old. I had the pleasure of knowing Trace for several years; he was a remarkable dog and I know his family is missing him terribly.

Kylie is a gorgeous 1 1/2 year old Miniature Australian Shepherd. I had so much fun with working with her during our recent session. She’s a little shy, very sweet, a tad bit silly, and most definitely a momma’s girl! She has some of the *best* expressions – I had such a hard time picking my favorites, but here are just a few…
Kylie shares her home with five (!) of the most beautiful cats I’ve ever seen. Since we were losing daylight, I didn’t get the chance to photograph all of them, but wow – what a gorgeous family!
Thanks Kylie and family for a wonderful session!

A couple months ago a few facebook friends of mine were passing around a picture of a sweet little Aussie girl who was looking for a new home. Not too long after that, I met her at an agility trial and *sweet* is an understatement! She has this awesome “Oh hi! Let’s be best friends!!” personality and is just a happy, happy girl. When I found out she would be living with my friends Keegan, Rumble, and Suzi up in Tampa, I was so excited – I don’t think she could have found a more perfect home!
Meet Miss Bliss – she’s 1 1/2 years old and quite possibly the *easiest* dog I have ever photographed. Seriously, this girl can really work a camera! She’s got a smile that’s contagious and those *eyes* – love, love, love.
Hooray for happy endings – and new beginnings!

As promised, here are a few more of my favorites of my three Aussie friends, Rascal, Bolo and Lucy. And they really are friends – these guys train at SOTC (Sarasota Obedience Training Club) and I think I’ve had each of them in one of my classes at some point. And yes, in addition to being super cute, they are all very good students!
Rascal is already a little agility star and he’s just an all-around great dog. Very happy and *very* ball crazy!
Bolo is also a rising agility star – he is soooo fast and so much fun to watch!
And last, but certainly not least, is Lucy. She has the most *amazing* eyes…this first picture cracks me up!
Big thanks to the Aussie gang for letting me spend the afternoon with you – I had so much fun!

Ah, my poor little neglected blog…one of these days I might get back on schedule, but in the meantime, I’ve been staying busy and having lots of fun with some awesome pups! Or in this case, perhaps I should say aussome?
Meet Rascal, Lucy, and Bolo – three ADORABLE miniature Aussies, who are also rescues! These guys have sooooo much energy – they make my spotty dogs look like real couch potatoes. I had such a great time with them, and will be sharing more of my favorites soon.
I hope everyone had a nice, long holiday weekend! Peyton and I are heading up to Georgia tomorrow for a four day agility trial – FUN!

Are you starting to notice a trend here? First we had the IG’s Bella, Bailey, Brie, and Beau. And today we have Boomer and Bounce. Hmmm…
First up is Boomer, who seems to be a very laid back hunk of a guy, who isn’t in a big hurry to get anywhere and was more than happy to hang out and look pretty. He definitely gets the award for the most consistent model…the camera just *loves* him – such a handsome boy!
Bounce, on the other hand, lives on planet Bounce, and thought the idea of having a family portrait was rather ridiculous. To say that she even acknowledged my presence would be a stretch, but I still can’t help but to love her. She crazy, but in an awesome have-to-love kind of way. And it doesn’t hurt that she’s a beauty…even with her crazy long tongue!
Um, Bounce…how do you really feel?

I had to share a few more portraits from the Pet Extravaganza – thanks again to everyone who stopped by the Simply Spotted Photography booth!
