As promised, here are a few more images of my favorite Vero Beach duo, Tulip and Mikey. I know I’ve said it quite a few times, but I just love these two! I had a hard time picking out a few favorites to share because there are just too many – these guys are the such good little models. And so, so smart!

A big thank you to Tulip and Mikey’s parents for the great hospitality…we had such a fun time in Vero!

You might remember my good friends Tulip and Mikey from Vero Beach. They made their first appearance here in the fall, and I had the pleasure of photographing them again this past weekend. I just can’t get enough of these two…they are so much fun! I’m still trying to get caught up from my little trip over to the east coast, but I couldn’t resist posting a quick picture. Meet Lucy

She might not have spots, but she’s still a part of the Simply Spotted family! Meet Lucy, a miniature Dachshund owned and loved by my parents (and loved by me too, of course). Even though I’ve taken many pictures of Lucy over the years, I  don’t think she ever read the memo that says if you’re going to be related to a pet photographer, you need to love the camera! I think she finds my big camera a little intimidating, but she still manages to take some really cute pictures. I just love her expressions! Ahhh, I love Doxies! I can’t remember if I mentioned it before, but I grew up with a little miniature black and tan Dachshund so I’m just a little partial to the breed. Mikey is very handsome and full of spunk – you wouldn’t dare tell him that he’s a “little” dog! I think he and Tulip make a perfect pair, and I have to thank their family for having me out for a really fun session. I had a hard time picking favorites, but here are just a few…

Vero Beach Sneak Peek

I spent this past weekend in beautiful Vero Beach where I met two very delightful young pups. Mikey is a miniature dachshund and Tulip is a Papillon – they were both full of personality and a pleasure to photograph! I had a really great time watching them play, romp on the beach, and show off all of their amazing tricks. I’ll be posting more pictures of these two soon, but in the meantime, here’s a little peek!

The 2009 Pet Extravaganza was a success! It was such a fun day and I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to meet so many nice people and their pups. A special thanks to The GulfCoast DOG Magazine for all of their hard work, and for bringing the Florida pet loving community together for a great event!

The Dachshund Duo

Meet Ozzie and Finn, quite possibly two of the cutest Doxies *ever*! Dachshunds are a breed near and dear to my heart – I grew up with a mini black and tan named Ebony, and she was such a good dog. My parents now have a little red girl and I’ve been trying to convince them that Lucy needs a friend – maybe these pictures will help?

Anyway, these two are so much fun and they really do make the perfect pair. They are both full of energy and I really enjoyed watching them run around their neighborhood – they even showed off their (very impressive) swimming skills in the lake! First up is Finn…

And here’s Oz…is it just me, or does he have “mischief” written all over his cute little face?
