I hope everyone’s year is off to a great start! These past few months have been a blur, but now that the holidays are over, I’m ready to take on 2011! I have lots of exciting plans for this year, but before I leave 2010 completely behind, I still have a few more images to share.

I had a family session back in early December and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect shoot – a lovely family, beautiful setting, gorgeous light, and *horses*! Even though our primary goal was photographs for the family Christmas card, I couldn’t resist sneaking in a few shots of just these two. I have to add that I was warned in advance that they would most likely *not* cooperate, but not only did they cooperate, they were absolutely perfect models!

I believe that’s Toby on the left and Duke on the right…

Such a fun session! Stay turned for more fun from *last* year (I’m still getting used to saying that!).

Meet Tardy | A Horse of Course!

I will freely admit to not being much of a morning person, but give me some lovely morning light and a gorgeous horse to work with, and I’m all yours! Meet my new friend Tardy – not only is she strikingly beautiful, but she has *the best* personality. She’s sweet, smart, and just a little sassy! I had such a lovely time working with her and her mom, and enjoyed reminiscing about my horsey days back in Indiana.

These two make such a perfect match! Tardy clearly adores Leann, and without a doubt, the feeling is mutual. Although Tardy is beautiful all on her own, I just *love-love* the images of the two of them together – simply gorgeous!

My Old Friend T-Go

I’ve been a bad blogger lately – Lot’s of fun stuff in the works, but I’m *still* trying to get caught up on posting pictures from my Indy trip! Today I thought I would share a few pictures of my old horse “T-Go” from Indiana. Sadly, I had to give him up when I moved down to Florida, but at least I still get to visit him when I go back for visits. He’s a big bay Thoroughbred and I’m guessing he’s around 13 years old now. And although he’s still recovering from a recent injury, he’s now back in training and I think he looks great! Sure does make me miss my horsey days…

Indy Trip – Sneak Peek!

I just returned from a wonderful trip to Indiana and am now in the process of sorting through over 1,600 images! I had a great time visiting with some friends that I haven’t seen in many years, and had the opportunity to do some really fun photography sessions while I was in town. Not only did I capture my usual 4 legged friends, but some two legged friends as well! Here’s a little sneak peek – more to come!
