As promised, here are a few more images of my favorite Vero Beach duo, Tulip and Mikey. I know I’ve said it quite a few times, but I just love these two! I had a hard time picking out a few favorites to share because there are just too many – these guys are the such good little models. And so, so smart!

A big thank you to Tulip and Mikey’s parents for the great hospitality…we had such a fun time in Vero!

You might remember my good friends Tulip and Mikey from Vero Beach. They made their first appearance here in the fall, and I had the pleasure of photographing them again this past weekend. I just can’t get enough of these two…they are so much fun! I’m still trying to get caught up from my little trip over to the east coast, but I couldn’t resist posting a quick picture. Meet Bella – Papillon

I’m guessing that it probably takes a special dog to live in a household with three Border Collie boys, and Bella is certainly a special girl. Appropriately nicknamed “Master of the Universe”, Bella has tons of attitude and personality! Like many other Papillons I’ve met, she’s really a great big dog disguised in a tiny, adorable package. Fierce and ferocious, yet very sweet, Bella is such a neat dog and I really enjoyed capturing her playful personality.

Bella’s mom Angelica owns Courteous Canine Inc., a dog training school in the Tampa area that uses only positive training methods. They offer a wide range of classes from obedience to agility, and recently added Florida’s first dock jumping pool and and dog dock training program! Not only have I taken a class from them, but I also know several of the instructors personally and I can honestly say that they are a great group. So if you live in the Tampa Bay area and are looking for a great place to train your dogs (or cats), be sure to check them out!

Border Collies are slowly taking over my blog…and I love it! Yesterday afternoon I had the pleasure of hanging out with three Border Collies and a Papillon. To say that I had a really fun time would be an understatement! Seriously, these guys were all great to photograph, and I can only imagine the endless entertainment that they provide. Fun times! I’ve got a lot of  favorites, but here are just a few…more coming soon!

First up is TicTac…

Zoomie in the front, TicTac hanging out in the back. TicTac is like one of those random tourists that you find in the background of all of your vacation pics.

Stevie…I just love this guy!

And last, but certainly not least, Bella. This girl has TONS of personality and clearly holds her own in a group of silly Border Collie boys!

Holistic for Pets – Portrait Preview

I had a great time at my pet portrait day at Holistic for Pets on Monday! We had a very diverse group – from an (itsy-bitsy) Chihuahua to a (great big) Great Dane – some really neat dogs! I’ll be posting some more previews soon, but here’s a little peek…

Meet Tulip

Tulip might be tiny, but she’s got big personality! Not only is this little Papillon girl very cute and very sweet, but she also happens to be one of the most talented little dogs I have ever met. Her mom is an awesome clicker trainer and both Tulip and Mikey know more tricks than I can count. They are also learning agility and freestyle dancing – a very talented (and young) pair, that’s for certain!

I’ll be posting some more pictures of Mikey soon, but in the meantime please enjoy a few of my favorites of Tulip. I’m absolutely in *love* with her itty-bitty teeth in the first shot – isn’t she just adorable!?

Vero Beach Sneak Peek

I spent this past weekend in beautiful Vero Beach where I met two very delightful young pups. Mikey is a miniature dachshund and Tulip is a Papillon – they were both full of personality and a pleasure to photograph! I had a really great time watching them play, romp on the beach, and show off all of their amazing tricks. I’ll be posting more pictures of these two soon, but in the meantime, here’s a little peek!

The 2009 Pet Extravaganza was a success! It was such a fun day and I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to meet so many nice people and their pups. A special thanks to The GulfCoast DOG Magazine for all of their hard work, and for bringing the Florida pet loving community together for a great event!
