We’re enjoying some lovely weather here in Sarasota this week…fortunate for all of the spring breakers in town, and absolutely perfect for a sunset session on the beach!

I had a lovely time with baby Camille and her family. Isn’t she *gorgeous*? While I generally tend to be a big fan of color and contrast, I loved the softer, slightly vintage feel for these images…just a little peek at a few of my many favorites. So sweet!

Wow, believe it or not, Christmas is only 10 days away! My three little spotted elves and I have been so busy with holiday orders that we’re still (very) behind on blogging, but I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who came out to our recent holiday portrait event at Fetch. Fur. Love in Tampa. I had a wonderful time and met so many awesome pups (and awesome people too)!

Fetch. Fur. Love. is an fabulous little pet boutique located on South Howard Avenue in Tampa. The owner, Rickena, is all kinds of awesome (yes, I’m very much abusing that word today), and she offers a lot of fun and unique items that you won’t find in any of those big-box pet stores. Not only is she super nice, but she’s also gorgeous. And her little pup, Brooks, is pretty darn handsome too!

Baby Connor | The G Family

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the G family, who were down from Alaska (!) visiting family over the Thanksgiving holiday. I had *such* a fun time with them! Today I thought I would share a few of my favorites of baby Connor, who is 9 months old, beyond adorable, and one very happy baby!

I think this first image might just be a new all time favorite of mine – *LOVE*!

Parker’s Turn!

Poor Parker; now that he’s no longer the baby in the family, he’s probably getting used to waiting patiently – or maybe not. I’ll just have to tell him that I saved the very best for last!

Some of you might remember Parker from last year’s Indy trip…well he sure has grown up a lot! He’s no longer the shy little boy that hides behind mom. He’s now an (almost) four year old who likes to beat up poor, unsuspecting friends who come to visit him from Florida. And yes, that would be me. : )

In fairness, he can also be very sweet. And silly. And definitely entertaining. We had some great conversations complete with lots of gestures, eye rolling, and some very dramatic sighs. While I have some classic, “cheesy” Parker photos, I was drawn to some of his more candid images. Being an awesome (brand new) big brother is a big responsibility!

Meet Preslee

Baby Preslee is one of my newest little Indy friends – she’s just 9 months old and is a DOLL! I think she’s probably one of the happiest, smiliest (is that even a word?) babies I have ever met. I had so much fun with her and her family, and every one of her images makes me smile.

Preslee is just starting to stand on her own and I know that pretty soon she’s going to be running all over place. Lucky for her, she lives on a farm and will have all kinds of fun things to play with growing up – including horses and cows! She is most definitely going to be one of the cutest little cowgirls around. : )

Thank you Preslee and family for being so much fun…hopefully I’ll be seeing you again next year!

Since I scheduled my Indy trip around the birth of this little guy, he gets to go first!

Meet baby Preston – he’s just two weeks old here and I dare you to look at these without going “awwww”. Impossible. I had such a hard time choosing some of my favorites to share…he’s just too darn cute! Love-love-love them baby faces!

I’m thinking this one would make a perfect gift for his 16th birthday…poster size, of course. : )

Meet Jackson

Almost two years ago, I had the pleasure of photographing two wonderful Vizslas named Kensi and Carter. I had such a nice time working with them so when their mom contacted me about a family session with their now 2 year old son, Jackson, I was sooo excited!

We decided to meet at Phillippi Estate Park in Sarasota and despite the heat, the setting was perfect! Jackson is *so* much fun – in addition to being absolutely *adorable*, he’s got a great little personality. And I just love-love-love his great big smile and those blonde curls – such a handsome little guy!

And look, it’s baby Jackson!  I had to pull this one from the archives…love that little baby smile!

I find photographing kids very similar to photographing dogs…they are adorable, very entertaining, easily distractible, and highly motivated by treats. Not to mention, they can be a lot of fun! Tristan is one very cute three year old with a big personality and smile that is downright contagious. I dare you to take a look at this first image and not smile!
