Baby Connor | The G Family

Posted on December 7, 2010

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the G family, who were down from Alaska (!) visiting family over the Thanksgiving holiday. I had *such* a fun time with them! Today I thought I would share a few of my favorites of baby Connor, who is 9 months old, beyond adorable, and one very happy baby!

I think this first image might just be a new all time favorite of mine – *LOVE*!

Thank you Connor and family for a really fun session; I hope you love these as much as I do!

Meet Tardy | A Horse of Course!

Posted on December 4, 2010

I will freely admit to not being much of a morning person, but give me some lovely morning light and a gorgeous horse to work with, and I’m all yours! Meet my new friend Tardy – not only is she strikingly beautiful, but she has *the best* personality. She’s sweet, smart, and just a little sassy! I had such a lovely time working with her and her mom, and enjoyed reminiscing about my horsey days back in Indiana.

These two make such a perfect match! Tardy clearly adores Leann, and without a doubt, the feeling is mutual. Although Tardy is beautiful all on her own, I just *love-love* the images of the two of them together – simply gorgeous!

Thank you Leann and Tardy for a fabulous morning!

Allison + Alyssa | Little Pumpkins

Posted on October 21, 2010

This past weekend I headed out to the annual pumpkin festival at Hunsader Farms, where I had the pleasure of photographing two beautiful babies, Allison and Alyssa. The weather was perfect, and the pumpkins made for a really fun fall backdrop…especially with their gorgeous blue eyes!

Allison was not very impressed with the pumpkins, although she did seem to think that they tasted pretty good. This first image makes me laugh…what a face!

Alyssa thought the pumpkins were positively drool worthy…I just love how the reflections created such a fun, sparkly effect in her eyes!

Big thanks to both of these sweet girls for being so good, and to their moms for having me out!

Parker’s Turn!

Posted on October 19, 2010

Poor Parker; now that he’s no longer the baby in the family, he’s probably getting used to waiting patiently – or maybe not. I’ll just have to tell him that I saved the very best for last!

Some of you might remember Parker from last year’s Indy trip…well he sure has grown up a lot! He’s no longer the shy little boy that hides behind mom. He’s now an (almost) four year old who likes to beat up poor, unsuspecting friends who come to visit him from Florida. And yes, that would be me. : )

In fairness, he can also be very sweet. And silly. And definitely entertaining. We had some great conversations complete with lots of gestures, eye rolling, and some very dramatic sighs. While I have some classic, “cheesy” Parker photos, I was drawn to some of his more candid images. Being an awesome (brand new) big brother is a big responsibility!

Liza + Sharon | Indy Friends

Posted on October 6, 2010

Some of you might remember Liza, my beautiful and super talented friend, from last year’s Indy trip. Well, this time I got to photograph her *and* her lovely mother, Sharon. Together, they have to be one of my very favorite mother-daughter duos ever…gorgeous! I’m having such a hard time picking favorites to share, but here are just a few…

Meet Jackson

Posted on August 8, 2010

Almost two years ago, I had the pleasure of photographing two wonderful Vizslas named Kensi and Carter. I had such a nice time working with them so when their mom contacted me about a family session with their now 2 year old son, Jackson, I was sooo excited!

We decided to meet at Phillippi Estate Park in Sarasota and despite the heat, the setting was perfect! Jackson is *so* much fun – in addition to being absolutely *adorable*, he’s got a great little personality. And I just love-love-love his great big smile and those blonde curls – such a handsome little guy!

Rascal + Bolo + Lucy

Posted on July 16, 2010

As promised, here are a few more of my favorites of my three Aussie friends, Rascal, Bolo and Lucy. And they really are friends – these guys train at SOTC (Sarasota Obedience Training Club) and I think I’ve had each of them in one of my classes at some point. And yes, in addition to being super cute, they are all very good students!

Rascal is already a little agility star and he’s just an all-around great dog. Very happy and *very* ball crazy!

Bolo is also a rising agility star – he is soooo fast and so much fun to watch!

And last, but certainly not least, is Lucy. She has the most *amazing* eyes…this first picture cracks me up!

Big thanks to the Aussie gang for letting me spend the afternoon with you – I had so much fun!

Meet Tristan | Tampa Portrait Photography

Posted on February 25, 2010

I find photographing kids very similar to photographing dogs…they are adorable, very entertaining, easily distractible, and highly motivated by treats. Not to mention, they can be a lot of fun! Tristan is one very cute three year old with a big personality and smile that is downright contagious. I dare you to take a look at this first image and not smile!

Party of Ten!

Posted on February 24, 2010

I’ve photographed a lot of family portraits over the years, but I’m pretty sure I set a personal record this past weekend with two adults, one (very adorable) three year old, and seven dogs. Did you happen to catch that last part? SEVEN dogs!

Meet the Clark family…and are they not one of the best looking families EVER? Seriously, it’s almost too much cute for just one picture. :)

I’ll admit that “posed” portraits are not exactly my specialty, but I have to say that I had a lot of fun, and this was definitely of the most entertaining sessions I’ve ever had. I do think that LAUGHTER is the key…I’m so thankful these guys have a great sense of humor!

Of course I’ll be sharing more pictures of all the pups (including Tristan, the adorable two-legger) soon!
